This program provides general operating support to professional music organizations and presenters in the five boroughs of New York City who demonstrate excellence in programming and presenting music by living composers, and who operate with an annual budget averaging $500,000 or less over the past three fiscal years.
By establishing this Program, Meet The Composer and JPMorganChase recognize that these small organizations are an important part of the total arts community and have much to offer, but may have limited access to corporate and foundation support.
In its seven-year history , the Regrant Program has supported an amazing breadth of New York City music organizations. These grants have enabled recipients to continue their commitment to new music by programming additional concerts, creating more energized and far-reaching publicity campaigns, and strengthening their commitment to commissioning new works.
Funding for the JPMorgan Chase Regrant Program in partnership with Meet The Composer is provided by The J.P. Morgan Chase Foundation. This program reflects our commitment to small, emerging arts organizations that play a vital role in the community.
The next deadline will be announced in the Fall of 2008. Check back here for updates and guidlines.
