Meet the Composer

The Vermont Symphony Orchestra will perform Richard Danielpour's A Child's Reliquary (orchestral version) with Sarah Hicks conducting, Jaime Laredo violin, and Sharon Robinson cello. The first performance will be Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Flynn Center in Burlington, VT. The second performance will be Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the Paramount Theatre in Rutland, VT. The program will also include Mozart's Abduction from the Seraglio Overture, De Falla's Suite No. 1 from the Three Cornered Hat, Delius' On Hearing the First Cuckoo in Spring, and Copland's Suite from Appalachian Spring.
